Pay Scale Base pay $33.80 with production bonus opportunities
Summary Our Service Technicians inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles. The primary duties include using industry‑standard shop equipment and tools to perform repair work on automobiles within dealership and manufacturer quality and standards. They will also inspect vehicles for any potential issues, document the findings, and communicate recommendations for repair or prevention of future breakdowns.
Responsibilities
Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned
Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards
Ensures the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions
Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
Performs other duties as assigned
Individual is required to stay current with all manufacturer and dealership training requirements
Requirements
Dealer‑level experience as technician
Some post‑secondary automotive training
High school diploma or GED
Must maintain a pro‑efficiency of shop minimum
Maintain manufacturers and Dealerships certification requirements
Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player
Results‑oriented self‑starter
Commitment to delivering world‑class customer service
Demonstrated desire to learn new processes and adapt quickly
