Full Job Description: Electrical Journeyperson
Salary Grade: Hourly 18 | H-18

Position Summary: The electrical journeyperson is expected to perform a variety of duties including completing all assigned work orders in a timely manner, reporting labor, cost and any pertinent notes/information regarding all assigned work orders, and returning to the foreperson daily. Must be conscientious, have experience in all areas of job responsibilities, and exhibit good workmanship.
Minimum Qualifications: Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
One (1) year of experience or general knowledge of the electric trade or willingness to learn
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current and valid Oklahoma driver’s license with no restrictions that would preclude driving on the job
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a current and valid State Electrician Craftsperson card
Ability to learn or perform routine preventative maintenance on all electric equipment is a plus
Knowledgeable of current city codes is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Office Suite or willing to learn
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. assisted
Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds
