Position Summary The Apprentice Craftsperson will assist the Master Craftsperson with repairing diesel, gasoline, and alternative fueled district vehicles. Performs preventive maintenance under the guidance of a Craftsperson or Master Craftsperson.
Salary Grade Hourly 8 | H-8
Minimum Qualifications Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
Experience
One (1) year experience in transportation preferred
Previous experience as a bus mechanic preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain Class A CDL and a Class “B” CDL with Passenger and School bus endorsement and State of Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate, Air brake, and School bus endorsement
