Base pay range $21.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! The Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance will diagnose, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance for all commercial equipment supporting our Walmart stores. Responsibilities include developing preventive maintenance schedules, completing assigned preventive maintenance (PM) jobs within specified timeframes, training store associates on equipment care and cleaning, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).

Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.

Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules, providing required written and electronic information (e.g., expense vouchers, weekly summaries, maintenance logs).

Adapt to changing demands, using judgment to identify priorities and maintain high customer service standards.

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of experience in maintenance or a related trade (plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related).

Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

1 year of experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, e‑mail, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) eligibility is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Vocational or Technical certification in a relevant trade.

7 years of experience in a related trade.

Experience with preventive maintenance scheduling and training associates.
