Responsibilities
Read and understand production tickets and interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual.
Sew flat upholstery.
Perform double‑needle sew, top stitch, and serge operations on cushions, flats, slipcovers, borders, and zippers.
Ensure stitching is straight and aligned with the cover pattern with no dropped stitches.
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper‑end upholstered furniture.
Onsite, in‑office role; work in a manufacturing and fast‑paced environment.
Experience in production of upper‑end upholstery fabric sewing in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to keep accurate records.
Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
