Chapman Collision Center is looking for a qualified Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team! The Auto Body Technician assesses the extent of damages and repairs or replaces parts to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, using the latest technology and repair techniques to perform high quality repairs, prioritizing customer safety and satisfaction. This role collaborates with Estimators and Technicians, and reports to the Body Shop Manager. Core Responsibilities:
Disassemble damaged vehicles and determine if damaged components can be repaired or need to be replaced.
Repair damaged vehicles using appropriate tools, technologies, and I-CAR procedures to restore vehicles to pre-accident state, factory specifications, and customer satisfaction.
Perform all body and fender repairs utilizing welding, body alignment, and structural operations.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of auto body repair experience including disassembling, repairing and rebuilding all makes and models of vehicles.
I-Car and welding certifications are a plus!
Must own your own tools.
Detail-oriented, thorough and precise workmanship.
Good work ethic, self-starting and motivated to achieve goals.
Demonstrated ability to perform well in a high-volume shop.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
