Laboratory Technician – Greeley, CO
IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Technician position at its facility in Greeley, CO. Pay range: $16.00–$18.00 hourly (DOE). This is a full‑time position with Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm (30 min lunch off the clock).
Responsibilities
Perform wet chemistry and gravimetric/titrimetric testing methods (pH, moisture, fat, protein).
Receive, prepare, and analyze samples via written SOPs, evaluate and interpret data, troubleshoot problems, and dispose of samples.
Clean and sanitize the laboratory and equipment, perform daily QC, and cover sample preparation in the Microbiology Lab when needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required); Associate’s Degree in Chemistry or related field (preferred).
1+ years of laboratory experience (preferred).
Experience with food testing and/or analytical instrumentation (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with data entry and computer applications.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory.
