Base pay range: $21.85/hr - $21.85/hr.
Location: Watertown, NY.
100-mile radius rule
Shifts: 8 hr evenings, 11 am–7:30 pm. Weekend, call, and holidays required.
Must be certified and have travel, orthopedics, scrubbing, and DaVinci experience. May be asked to precept new staff.
Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program required.
BLS required; Continuing education of 15 CEU’s per year.
Qualified candidate will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine & delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department.
Candidate will perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise & efficient reaction to all situations & assist with departmental work as assigned.
Surgical techs have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensuring that surgical equipment is functioning properly & safely as well as assisting surgeons during procedures.
Must arrive within ½ hour of being called in.
