This is an exciting opportunity for energetic, dependable individuals who want to make a positive impact while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in recreation and community engagement!
As a Seasonal Recreation Aide, you will assist with daily operations of the City’s summer programs, including youth day camps, special events, field trips, and recreational activities. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all participants.
Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Occasional evening and weekend hours in addition to availability to work special events.
Dates
Flexible start and end dates, approximately May 2026 through August 2026.
$16.00/hour.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and implementing engaging summer camp programs.
Participate in and support all camp activities, including games, field trips, pool activities, and events.
Prepare materials for events and programming.
Ensure safety and well‑being of participants by addressing and responding to safety concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain and clean facilities as required.
Play a direct role in shaping memorable experiences for Powell’s youth and families!
