CBI is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona, including residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Behavioral Health Clinician The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with the Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presented for services. The BHC completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program, documents provided services, and coordinates discharges and care with family or other significant others.
Skills / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health. Master’s Degree is preferred but not required. Preference given to a Master’s Degree in a field related to behavioral health and/or having been licensed at the associate level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor.
1‑3 years of full‑time health-care related work experience where prior exposure provided adequate experience in both behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred but not required.
