Responsibilities
40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Occasional charge nurse coverage.
Staff supervision and management: Oversee nursing staff, provide guidance, support, and evaluate performance.
Quality assurance: Ensure adherence to nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
Resident care: Develop and implement care plans, address resident needs, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete resident records.
Communication: Effectively communicate with residents, families, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards.
Training & development: Participate in hiring and training of new nurses, promote continuous learning.
Performance evaluations: Conduct regular performance assessments and identify areas for improvement.
Problem solving: Resolve issues related to resident care, staff performance, and facility operations.
Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure coordinated care.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Nursing (preferred).
Current NYS Registered Nurse License.
3‑5 years’ experience in Long Term Care.
Working knowledge of EMR and proficient documentation.
Familiarity with SIGMA Software (preferred).
Current CPR certification.
Salary Range $100,000 - $125,000 per year.
