Frontline Applicant Tracking - Vassar Public Schools
Summary of Position:
Dishwashing, breakfast assistant, food prep, cashier, cleaning, and other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director. The scheduled shift is Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 1:30 pm throughout the school year and is subject to change. Main placement would be at the Elementary school but placement is subject to change based on staffing.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
ServSafe certification preferred, not required
Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
Willingness to cross‑train in all food service duties including but not limited to food prep and washing dishes
Ability to maintain a clean food service area and adhere to all district sanitation and safety protocols
Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, workstation cleanliness, and professional conduct at all times
Team player with a positive attitude
Good people skills and self‑motivated
Must be able to lift 50 lb
Other Requirements:
Ability to perform essential functions while adhering to district policies
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designated person
