DESCRIPTION This is an opportunity for individuals to be part of a quality food service program, providing meals to both school children and senior citizens. Employee(s) will assist food service duties and fill in during employee absences.
Job Summary
Duties include food prep, meal serving, senior meal delivery, general clean-up
Union Position
$18.52 per hour
Approximately six (6.5) hours per day, Monday through Friday
No nights, weekend or holiday work
Physical Duties
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to withstand excessive bending, twisting and lifting
Ability to reach and lift over the head as well as in and out of hot ovens while preparing food
Must be able to tolerate standing up to 7 hours per day, with a 10 min break provided after 3 hours
Personal Requirements Must possess even temperament and ability to comprehend and carry out the objectives of the position in a way conducive to good personal relationships, including good judgment, good moral character, and personal cleanliness; being courteous, neat, cooperative, tactful, dependable, honest, and loyal.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate; or high school equivalency diploma
ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required
Valid Driver’s License
