Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Days
Overview As a day‑shift LPN at Wellpath, you will work under RN supervision to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care, contributing to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions and contribute to individualized treatment planning.
Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, including medication administration (IV therapy if certified) and diagnostic testing per established protocols.
Collaborate on controlled substance counts, adhere to safety procedures, and respond to codes or health emergencies following standard guidelines.
Assist in minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred.
Licenses / Certifications:
Current licensure as an LPN/LV nurse in the state of employment.
CPR certification, obtainable and maintainable.
