Responsibilities
Present a neat, clean appearance in company uniform
Greet each customer with a smile and a word of welcome or farewell
Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers
Serve customers according to all company procedures and standards
Cooperation with peers
Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co‑workers
Help new employees through training and orientation
Show patience and understanding when training others
Keep other employees informed about what he/she is doing
Attendance – is personally reliable
Understand posted work schedule and report to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform and ready to begin tasks
Provide appropriate notice when unable to be at work
Provide written notice for being late or absent as required
Understand and use approved time keeping system
Cooperation with Management – is open and receptive to requests, demonstrates flexibility and dependability
Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with management
Adjust positively to requests for change from managers
Accept procedural changes positively and without loss of effectiveness
Alert management to station needs
Anticipate problems and bring them to management’s attention
Follow through with all commitments made
Initiative and Energy – takes action without being told, goes beyond what is simply required, maintains a high activity level
Help others when needed without being asked
Demonstrate a sense of urgency on the job, especially when it relates to pleasing the customer
Be effective working on more than one task at a time
Finish tasks completely once begun
Suggest ideas for solving problems, improving procedures, etc.
Pay and Benefits
Part‑time employees (30 hours a week or less)
Wage rate – $15.49 to $18.00
NJ Sick Leave – You accrue 1 hour of earned sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year.
Eligible for period bonus if store achieves desired goals.
Full‑time employees (32 hours a week or more)
Wage rate – $15.49 to $19.00
NJ Sick Leave – You accrue 1 hour of earned sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year.
Eligible for medical, dental and health insurance.
Eligible for period bonus if store achieves desired goals.
