Teach face-to-face, blended, and/or online classes and clinical supervision of pre-licensure Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) program with an emphasis on fundamentals and/or medical-surgical theory and clinical, teaching and clinical supervision of additional courses in the nursing curriculum Utilize simulation and technology-based teaching and learning strategies Participate in curricular assessment, revision, and evaluation Engage in student recruitment, retention, and mentoring activities Participate in committee work within department and college or university Required Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field; Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government-certified university Current, active Missouri RN (Registered nurses) license or eligibility for Missouri licensure Teaching experience in theory or clinical instruction (faculty or preceptor); Faculty teaching experience in Pediatrics is a plus Minimum three years of recent clinical nursing experience, including some pediatric clinical experience Proficiency with instructional technology and learning management systems (e.g. Canvas) Ability to incorporate simulation and technology-enhanced strategies into teaching; Simulation facilitation experience a plus Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with students, faculty, staff, and the community Application Deadline
