Position Number: 959543 Full Time or Part Time: Part Time Job Category: Staff - Medical Open Until Filled: No Job Close Date: 1/23/2026 Responsibilities
Perform a variety of defined research and laboratory tests and experiments according to prescribed protocols and assigned schedules. Set up experiments as prescribed by principal investigator and may be required to participate in laboratory maintenance activities such as sterilization and cleaning of equipment, ordering of supplies, inventory and media preparation. Maintain records, files and logs of work performed in laboratory notebooks and computer databases and compile data and record results of studies for publications, grants and seminar presentations. Perform basic lab maintenance responsibilities including glassware washing, solution making and laboratory organization and keep track of stocks of essential items such as personal protective equipment, reagents and other lab supplies. Ensure lab equipment and freezers are in working order and comply with established safety procedures and maintain required documentation on laboratory and specimen conditions. Act as the safety representative and HIPAA compliance representative, coordinate inspections, serve as the liaison with Prospective Health to schedule inspections and address any deficiencies, and ensure HIPAA compliance by managing all locked cabinets and labs that contain patient related materials.
