Job Description The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, and storage and rotation of food and supplies. The role also includes janitorial duties in dining services areas including the Dining Room, Bistro, and other associated areas. All foods, storage, and cleaning activities must be handled in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.
Responsibilities
Perform kitchen cleaning and storage activities including dish washing, pot washing, general cleaning, equipment cleaning, and storage and rotation of food and supplies.
Execute janitorial duties within dining services areas such as the Dining Room, Bistro, and other dining activity areas.
Handle all food, storage, and cleaning tasks following sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces.
Possess written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational and time‑management skills; demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision‑making skills.
