Job Title LPN‑Telehealth Technician – STGi

Location 1222 Arsenal Street, Watertown, New York

Job Summary The Telehealth Technician provides telehealth services and manages administrative and clinical interactions from patient and provider locations.

Essential Functions

Performs telehealth imaging (tele‑retinal screening, tele‑dermatology, tele‑wound care, etc.).

Conducts telehealth visits, handling patient site clinical, business, scheduling and technical aspects for real‑time encounters.

Uses judgment to determine appropriateness of telehealth requests by evaluating clinical records.

Documents clinical information in electronic medical records daily with minimal errors.

Co‑ordinates with Primary TCT to set up telehealth rooms, equipment and connections.

Facilitates and provides hands‑on assistance during encounters, training or interaction as needed.

Coordinates information between facilities to expedite patient telehealth modality.

Assists Primary TCT in scheduling and confirming telehealth services across facilities.

Performs follow‑up visits and other direct care duties (temperature, blood pressure, respiratory rate).

Provides clerical/administrative support for the facility.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Knowledge of coordinating and scheduling telehealth clinical care.

Understanding of variations in anatomy and telehealth technology troubleshooting.

At least two years of current clinical experience in a similar outpatient environment.

Ability to work under close supervision while demonstrating initiative.

Provision of educational material to patients/families (e.g., injections, blood pressure).

Customer‑service techniques and effective verbal/written communication.

Computer and electronic medical record proficiency.

Diplomatic communication skills and ability to handle difficult customer situations.

Detail‑oriented with multi‑tasking ability.

Required Education & Licensure

Current CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or Military Training Network.

LPN/LVN from an accredited nursing school.

Current, unrestricted LVN/LPN nursing license in New York.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Moderate physical activity: handling objects up to 25 lb, standing/walking >4 hrs/day.

Typical interior office work environment.

Responsive to medical emergencies within the clinic.

Compensation & Benefits Pay: Starting at $24 per hour.
