The Public Safety Officer is responsible for the enforcement of traffic and criminal laws and parking regulations. This position is governed by law enforcement standards, state and federal laws, and agency policy. Qualifications
Must be 21 years old. No arrests or convictions for felony or domestic battery. High school graduate or possess a GED. Must pass a physical and physiologic examination. Must pass a firearms qualification course and attend and pass the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy within one year of employment. Preferred qualifications: 2 years of college. ALETA Certified. 3 years of law enforcement experience. Salary Information
