Clive Behavioral Health West opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adults, children, and adolescents experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at our hospital focuses on crisis management, stabilization, and development of a plan to return to community living.
Job Description The Clinical Dietitian oversees the nutrition care of the inpatients and outpatients, performing nutritional assessments, managing the physician’s orders for therapeutic diets and supplements, providing nutrition education to patients and/or families, attending patient rounds, and maintaining clinical nutrition policies.
Responsibilities
Performs nutritional assessments of patients.
Manages therapeutic diets and supplements based on physician orders.
Provides nutrition education to patients and families.
Attends patient rounds and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
Maintains clinical nutrition policies and documentation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition.
Experience: Prefer one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting.
Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensed Dietitian as required by state regulations.
