Position:
Patient Care Technician
Location: Telemetry and Med/Surg at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full Time position
What You’ll Do
Adheres to hospital policies and standards
Attends nursing station and performs clerical duties
Participates in required education, competencies, and training requirements
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members
Follows HIPAA compliance
Demonstrates knowledge of emergent situations and responds appropriately
Adheres to patient safety and monitors patient needs frequently
Prepares patient records, admissions, discharge, etc.
Supports a conducive work environment
Observes cardiac monitors and documents rhythm shifts
Floats to other nursing departments as needed
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid KY SRNA license
1-2+ years of experience
Strong attentive and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast pace
Maintain accurate and concise documentation
Frequent walking, standing, and lifting
Able to lift over 50lbs
Additional Requirements
BLS required through American Heart Association - renewals are included with TRH employment
Basic Dysrhythmia required upon hire
