Job Description The Flight Test Data Processing Engineer will design, build, integrate, and operate systems for real‑time aircraft data display and post‑test data processing. You will diagnose and resolve data collection problems, expand your knowledge of the discipline, and work independently.
Responsibilities
Design, build, integrate, and operate real‑time aircraft data display systems.
Operate post‑test processing of recorded data to create data products.
Diagnose and resolve problems that arise from data collection and processing.
Work extended hours, weekends, and rotations in support of mission goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Mining, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to work independently.
Experience with software development or scripting.
Secret Clearance required to start.
Desired Skills
Experience with data processing, telemetry, TSPI, IRIG 106 standard.
Experience with data acquisition systems and Curtiss‑Wright IADS.
Knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet, MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 429, Fiber Channel, IEEE‑1394, CAIS Bus, RS‑485).
Aerospace experience, server administration, test equipment troubleshooting.
Security+ certification, excellent written and verbal communication, teamwork.
