This requisition is for a Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) position at ADP as part of the Test Operations Team in Palmdale, California. The position works alongside military, contractor, and civil service personnel as members of the flight test team. Duties include providing program leadership with communication and status of platform readiness and maintenance issues, acting as liaison between Operations SME and Test Operations group leads, modification team, and other FTCEs in coordinating scheduled events, representing test program leadership in meetings, coordinating with other organizations associated with test readiness, and communicating aircraft test configuration to responsible engineers and flight operations.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with related Masters degree.
Recent aircraft experience on a live flight line.
Manufacturing engineer experience.
Recent experience working with maintenance/modification operations.
Experience and understanding of aircraft configuration.
Secret security clearance.
US Citizenship (required).
Desired Skills
Developmental test program experience.
Understanding of flight test instrumentation and data processing.
Understanding of flight test controls.
Test project lead or ship lead experience.
Communication experience with company and customer audiences.
Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be a US citizen. Clearance level: Top Secret.
Other Important Information You Should Know Location: Palmdale, CA. The work is onsite full-time. Work schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Pay and Benefits Pay range in California (excluding most major metro areas): $85,500 – $150,765 annually. In major metro areas: $98,300 – $170,315 annually. Salary is a general guideline and may be adjusted based on experience, education, and market factors.
