Base Pay Range $20.05/hr - $33.11/hr

Job Description Responsible for providing general direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting under the direct supervision of a physician. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure practice operations function smoothly, providing excellent patient care. May perform administrative or clinical tasks and specialized duties.

Principal Accountabilities

Handles patient intake, updates medical records, and administers screening tools.

Records medical information, conducts patient interviews, takes and records vital signs, collects specimens, administers medication under physician supervision.

Assists with walk-in and scheduled clinic visits, ensures accurate documentation and quality standards.

Guides patients through the health care system and helps ensure timely appointments.

Performs vital sign checks, assists with examinations, collects and prepares laboratory samples.

Provides excellent communication, work ethic, active listening, adaptability, professionalism, and strong written skills.

Schedules appointments, greets patients, maintains medical records, cleans and prepares examination rooms.

Provides emotional support in accordance with patient care plans.

Assists with referrals and performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

High School Diploma or equivalent.

National Certification CCMA from NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT.

Precertification agreement must be signed if certification expires or to be received within 60 days of employment.

Preferred

Associate’s degree in Medical Care or related field.

1 year of experience in Health Care services.

≥2 years experience in outpatient, ambulatory setting.

BLS upon hire.

EPIC or similar EMR system experience.

Ability to work within computer systems.
