Dental Assistant

Pay Information
Competitive base pay starting at $22/hr, increases with experience, plus an annual bonus.
What You’ll Do
Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post‑treatment care.
Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs to ensure a smooth workflow.
Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately.
Requirements
Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements per state regulations.
Michigan: Required to furnish evidence of X‑ray training certification upon hiring; if not obtained at hiring, an 8‑week period is granted to submit it.
New Jersey: Proof of X‑ray training.
New York: Not applicable.
Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays).
Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
Ideal Qualifications
2+ years of previous dental assisting experience or relevant education.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.
