What You’ll Do
Assist the dental team in providing exceptional patient care
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post‑treatment care
Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately
This position requires you to travel between our Goshen and Monroe practices.
Competitive base pay starting at $22/hr and goes up based on experience – PLUS ANNUAL BONUS!
Requirements
Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X‑rays).
Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X‑rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
Michigan: Upon hiring you must furnish evidence of X‑ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8‑week period to submit it.
New Jersey: Proof of X‑ray training.
New York: Not applicable.
Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X‑rays).
Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus.
