Applus+ Laboratories
Applus+ Keystone is a regulatory compliance test lab located in New Castle, PA currently seeking candidates for an Electronics Technician position. The responsibilities of the position include the testing of various electronic devices to determine the electromagnetic field effects on electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform testing per requirements detailed in international EMC and Wireless standards and test procedures.
Maintain a dynamic schedule of customer projects and assignments.
Communicate project status to lab management and to customers effectively.
Prepare test datasheets and work with the report Reviewer to issue completed test reports.
Support teammates to continue improvement in processes and quality management.
Maintain knowledge of proper operational procedures of all relevant test equipment.
Qualifications
Ability to use test equipment such as EMI receivers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, RF amplifiers, power meters...
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel. Understand electronics design theory.
Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams and schematics.
Apply and understand advanced concepts of electrical and/or mechanical nature.
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment.
Be a team player.
Proactively address issues independently without requiring direct supervision.
Set priorities and work under aggressive timelines.
Communicate project status and results to clients through frequent contact.
Promptly respond to all internal and external communication requests and deadlines.
Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
