Remas Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Aviation Mechanic to join our client on a full-time basis. As an Aviation Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of aircraft to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft, including but not limited to engines, landing gear, electrical systems, and avionics
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on aircraft
Repair or replace faulty components and systems
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Stay up to date with new technologies and industry advancements in aviation maintenance
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Aviation Mechanic
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Proficient in using various hand and power tools
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
