Position Summary Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. Responsibilities
Functional leadership on-shift for employees in the Meat Preparation, Processing, Retort, and Packaging departments and direction to the Maintenance Team as required.
Safe and efficient operation of the production on-shift with specific responsibility for one line.
Manage the production schedule to ensure the right product is produced at the right quantity at the right time.
Manage the timing and execution of changeover, cleaning, and maintenance activities.
Coach and develop competency in the NCE methodology, especially Continuous Improvement, Leadership Development, TPM, and Goal Alignment.
Provide an environment that builds and strengthens the team concept and sets the culture of Zero Safety Incidents and Zero Quality Defects.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner/Schedulers to ensure timely execution of CIL activities by the production team.
Manage work schedule coverage daily to support time off, training & development, and TPM activities while maintaining safe, quality production.
Willing to work night or swing shift.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
2+ years of experience in a maintenance, manufacturing, military, or related environment
1+ year of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $66,000.00 - $106,000.00. Nestlé offers performance‑based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401(k) with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
