Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Soni Resources is hiring for an industrial/manufacturing company for a hands‑on Assistant Controller to support the Controller in overseeing financial operations. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with manufacturing accounting experience who can provide strategic insights while being comfortable in the day‑to‑day finance operations.
What You’ll Do:
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in compliance with GAAP
Prepare internal reports and assist with external audits
Analyze balance sheets and ensure financial controls are effective
Oversee cost accounting, inventory, and standard costing processes
Partner with operations to provide financial insights on production and margins
Manage capital assets, depreciation schedules, and process improvements
Review customer contracts and determine credit terms
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience; steel or heavy industrial experience a plus
Knowledge of ASC842 leasing, tax, and standard costing
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Collaborative and hands‑on approach; comfortable working across departments
Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications
