Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site Bookkeeper role located in Lorton, VA. The Bookkeeper will manage day‑to‑day financial tasks such as maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and performing general bookkeeping responsibilities. Key duties include managing journal entries, reconciling accounts, using accounting software, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy. The candidate will collaborate with the finance team to support the business in decision‑making processes and ensure efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
Experience in Financial Statements preparation and analysis
Proficiency in Bookkeeping and handling daily transaction records
Knowledge of Accounting Software and tools, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
Expertise in Journal Entries (Accounting) and account reconciliation processes
Strong understanding of Finance and general accounting principles
Excellent organizational and detail‑oriented skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Experience in a CPA or advisory firm is a plus
