Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description We are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong understanding in warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for staging inventory for aircraft parts, palletizing materials, and transporting them using sit-down forklifts. Accurate inventory management is crucial, as you will handle products valued between a quarter of a million to three million dollars. This position involves lifting up to 50 lbs and requires teamwork to ensure precise data entry.

Responsibilities

Stage inventory for aircraft parts.

Palletize materials and transport them using sit-down forklifts.

Maintain accurate inventory counts within our system.

Assist team members in ensuring correct data input.

Handle materials that may weigh up to 50 lbs.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of experience in materials handling, logistics, and order selection.

3-5 years of warehouse and forklift experience.

3-5 years of shipping/receiving and inventory management experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Excel.

Experience working in distribution.

Work Environment You will work in a warehouse environment where professionalism is key, with work pants and boots required due to customer visits. The regular shift is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
