We are seeking to add a Warehouse Employee to our team.
We want a team player who can assist our drivers by loading/unloading construction materials on and off our trucks. The team member will help with daily warehouse tasks and collaborate with the team to ensure all the daily tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Sorting and placing received materials on racks, shelves, and/or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color, etc.
Shipping/Receiving/Order Picking
Operating a forklift and pallet jack
Assemble customer work orders for pickup
Assemble customer orders on trucks for delivery when needed
Always ensure a good customer experience
Maintain proper inventory levels by utilizing an RF scanner and assisting in inventory counts
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, for example, materials returned to shelves properly and in order, aisles are clean and accessible, sweeps as needed
Follow all safety rules and policies, including all mandated safety protective equipment
Requirements
Forklift experience preferred
Position involves heavy lifting 50-100 lbs
Building product knowledge and sheetrock handling desirable but not required
Reliable transportation
Ability to work during inclement weather
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical examination including a lift test and drug screening.
