What You’ll Do
Estimating:
Prepare detailed electrical estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals using Accubid or similar software
Analysis:
Review drawings, specifications, blueprints, and one‑line diagrams to identify scope and risk
Vendor Management:
Source and manage vendor and subcontractor pricing; maintain strong industry relationships
Strategy:
Identify project risks, exclusions, and value‑engineering opportunities to improve bid competitiveness
Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers and field leadership; track bid outcomes and performance metrics
Leadership:
Support and mentor junior team members as needed
Qualifications
Experience:
7–10+ years of electrical construction or estimating experience required
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of NEC, commercial, and industrial electrical systems
Blueprint Proficiency:
Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans and one‑line diagrams
Software:
Experience with Accubid or comparable estimating platforms
Skills:
Highly detail‑oriented, organized, deadline‑driven, with strong communication skills
Education:
Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent hands‑on experience
Licensing:
NC Electrical License preferred; valid driver’s license required

$60,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience)
