As a
Systems Engineer
on CPS, you'll be part of a
cross-functional engineering team
delivering hardware, software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas:
Test & Integration Engineering:
hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing
Requirements Engineering:
documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE):
system modeling, simulations, and design analysis
Hardware-Systems Engineering:
design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systems
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related STEM. Agile experience preferred.
2+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering or Hardware Systems work (Master's degree may substitue for experience).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Experience in
Systems Engineering,
including
Test & Integration,
Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems.
Knowledge of systems design, MBSE modeling, and simulation.
Familiarity with
requirements management tools
(DOORS, Cameo, or similar).
Experience with
defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Execute
systems engineering activities in Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems,
depending on focus area.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance.
Document, review, and manage system requirements
using requirements management tools and MBSE.
Participate in
design reviews, verification, and validation
activities.
