Skilled TIG Welder (1st Shift)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform near-perfect coined GTAW welds on aluminum and steel (thickness range is .080” to 1”) Interpret shop drawings and follow weld symbols Produce structurally sound welds to meet deadlines Maintain knowledge of the GMAW process REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least two years of aluminum GTAW welding experience in a fast-paced environment Possession of proper work shoes/boots & auto-darkening welding helmet Ability to read a tape measure Ability to pass an all-position AWS Welder Qualification test (set-up and efficiency will be evaluated as well) Ability to operate hand tools to prep and dress welds as required Basic computer skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Five years of aluminum TIG welding experience Five years of steel GMAW experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted WHAT WE OFFER: Production Bonus Program Eligible Comprehensive Benefits Package (medical, dental, vision options) Paid Time Off (PTO) 8 Paid Company Holidays 401k & Roth with Generous Company Match Adoption Assistance Company-Paid Short-Term Disability Insurance Tuition & Professional Development Reimbursement
