Overview The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare and serve food samples using small appliances, and intercept consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner. The Associate must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.

Effectively communicate product features and benefits.

Prepare and serve food samples using microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.

Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.

Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.

Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution.

Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.

Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.

Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.

Completes expense reports as per Company Policy.

Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.

Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and one to three months’ related experience.

Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.

Local food handlers permit may be required.

Ability to stand and walk the shift, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with arms up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, and prepare foods and beverages using required appliances.

None‑supervisory responsibilities.

Retail store environment with limited travel.

Professional appearance and proper grooming; specific retailer dress code included in training documents.

English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
