This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high‑quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Shift(s) Available:

Friday through Monday AM Shift (9 pm‑7 am); Tuesday through Saturday PM shift (3 pm‑11 pm)

Compensation:

$26.50 /hr

Sign‑On Bonus:

$1500

Key Accountabilities

Correctly, safely and efficiently operate equipment using computerized controls and physical adjustments for a salt manufacturing and packaging facility

Perform product quality testing and housekeeping tasks

Troubleshoot equipment to ensure efficient and consistent operation

Operate brine well systems, including injection pumps, storage tanks, valves, etc.

Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third‑party employer

Minimum age of 18 years to work in a production facility

Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)

Ability to perform physical job duties (bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting) safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.) with use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Basic computer use

Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice

Ready and willing to work night shifts

Preferred:

High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years relevant work experience

Ability to operate heavy equipment

Forklift certification

Prior experience in production
