As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and safeguarding team members. About the Position of Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide repair information, guarantee a positive in‑store experience and strive to meet customer expectations. To be eligible, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess either 1 year of experience in automotive parts and/or tire sales, 1 year of experience in automotive repairs/maintenance, or a combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the role.
