Shop Foreman
to lead day‑to‑day operations within our service department. This position is designed for a
Ford‑experienced technician or Senior Master Technician
who is ready to step into a leadership role focused on shop efficiency, technician development, and repair quality.
The Shop Foreman plays a critical role in keeping the service shop running smoothly by supporting technicians, guiding diagnostics, and maintaining strong communication between advisors, technicians, and management. We’re seeking someone who leads by example, communicates clearly, and takes pride in developing a high‑performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage shop workflow, dispatching, and repair prioritization
Support advanced diagnostics and complex repair strategies
Act as the primary point of contact between technicians, service advisors, and leadership
Monitor repair quality and proactively reduce comebacks
Coach technicians on diagnostic accuracy, efficiency, and repair standards
Train and mentor technicians at all skill levels, from entry‑level to A‑techs
Promote and enforce safety standards and a clean, organized shop environment
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Ford dealership experience required
(Senior Master Technician strongly preferred)
Proven leadership ability with a hands‑on, coach‑first mindset
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise
Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide, teach, and resolve issues
Highly organized and comfortable managing shop flow in a fast‑paced environment
Deep familiarity with Ford OEM repair procedures and diagnostic systems
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
