Position: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
Company: Vivian Health (staffing support from Fusion Medical Staffing)
Location: Meridian, Idaho Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour shifts)
Summary The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist assists physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging technology. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, operating fluoroscopic and other imaging modalities, maintaining sterile fields, monitoring and documenting patient vital signs, administering contrast media, ensuring radiation safety, troubleshooting equipment, managing procedural supplies, collaborating with the healthcare team, and enforcing infection control and regulatory protocols.
Required Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations
PALS or ENPC certification
Other relevant certifications or licenses may be required for this position
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
Read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills
Physical strength to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
Ability to work independently or with close supervision, cope with irregular schedules, and maintain concentration to detail
Possess visual acuity and effective communication skills
