The Clinical Application Analyst I acts as a liaison between clinical end users and implementation teams to ensure the successful adoption and optimization of EMR systems and related healthcare applications. This role focuses on training, workflow enhancement, and technical support to improve efficiency and quality of care delivery. The position involves data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support. Additionally, the analyst participates in application deployment and procedure documentation, ensuring that software builds meet organizational goals and external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful use.
Job Requirements Minimum Education
High School
Minimum Work Experience
1-3 years in a healthcare setting
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Ability to present educational information to individual and/or small groups in a professional manner.
Knowledge of EMR software applications
Knowledge of Windows system level operation
Prior experience in product development for healthcare strongly preferred
Document and maintain software functionality
Strong background in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities
Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
