7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Saturday and Sunday only) Job Summary

The MRI Technologist will perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in compliance with ARRT standards and departmental policies. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, patient care, positioning, electromagnetic principles, magnetic protection, and specialized imaging techniques. The technologist must demonstrate the ability to apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures. Responsibilities

Conduct MRI scans in accordance with professional standards and patient safety protocols. Position patients accurately and ensure they are comfortable during imaging procedures. Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining proper calibration and usage of associated software (PACS, RIS). Assess patient medical history and identifying contraindications or precautions related to MRI procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to provide optimal patient care. Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Holder of a Kentucky Radiation Operator Certificate. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing. Current MRI registry through ARRT within one year of hire. CPR/BLS certification by start date. Valid Kentucky state radiation certification. Physical Requirements

Regularly lift, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds; stand or walk with objects up to 10 pounds; sit at a computer workstation for extended periods; perform repetitive motions (typing); occasionally lift, push, or pull heavier objects; stand or walk with objects up to 25 pounds; work at heights above four feet and/or in confined spaces; and travel less than 10% of the time. The role involves potential injury risk from patient positioning, equipment handling, noise, temperature extremes, hazardous chemicals, and exposure to radiation and pathogens. Compensation & Benefits

Starting hourly rate: $30.10, adjusted based on experience. Sign‑on bonus:

$10,000

for new graduates ( less than one year

experience) or

$20,000
