Medical Laboratory Technician - MLT OR Medical Technologists - MT. At Jeffers, Mann and Artman Pediatric (JMA) our mission is to provide excellent medical care in a caring, family-centered environment and assist families in building happy, healthy children.
JMA is looking for a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologists (MT) for our Clayton Location.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Experience with direct patient contact and great sample collection technique
Able to perform all laboratory testing according to practice and CLIA guidelines in a moderate complexity lab setting (i.e. kit testing, capillary & heel sticks, venipunctures)
Ability to operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment
Ensure quality control and accurate reporting of results
Excellent customer service skills
Detail oriented
Great time management
Collaborate with other lab techs and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment
Ability to train other members of the healthcare team on sample collection and operation of laboratory equipment
