The Role: We are seeking a
Senior Quantity Surveyor
with strong experience in
data center projects
to join our consultancy. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across challenging, high-profile projects, managing costs, contracts, and commercial reporting while collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for data center projects.
Manage the commercial aspects of projects, including contracts, variations, and claims.
Conduct regular cost reporting and provide insight into project financial performance.
Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Support tendering and procurement processes, reviewing contractor proposals and negotiating agreements.
Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and client requirements.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a
Quantity Surveyor
on
data center or high-tech infrastructure projects .
Strong knowledge of cost planning, commercial management, and contract administration.
Experience with NEC, JCT, or equivalent UK/US construction contracts.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
