Salary Range: $58k-$82k (This position can be based out of Duffield, VA, Charlotte, NC, or Lexington, KY).

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties And Responsibilities)
Use technical knowledge to create product specifications that meet all customer requirements.
Ensure overall product compliance within the development process; collaborate with other functional resources at each step and report project updates.
Create test plans to ensure product meets the full range of requirements; troubleshoot and resolve issues as required to ensure product meets testing requirements.
Work with marketing to develop claims and substantiate through validation testing.
Initiate and own specification & manufacturing builds to determine the validity of the design through the manufacturing process, report design review and product validation.
Actively participate in product development teams dedicated to ensuring the product is meeting the organization’s key metrics for performance, margin, and consumer and retailer satisfaction.
Support new production processes and launches to ensure product is manufactured according to design, safety, and quality specifications.
Assist in PD initiatives, communicate with customers and other resources as required to support product development initiatives and rollout; provide design and technical expertise as needed.
Other duties as needed to support overall strategy and success of product development initiatives and rollout.
Travel requirement: 50-75%
