eCommerce Production Associate – Franklin Road eCommerce Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana invites candidates to join our fast‑paced, dynamic e‑commerce platform. The role involves photographing, listing, and sorting unique merchandise—including pop culture items, vintage toys, and designer purses—to support our mission of helping people facing barriers find employment.

Responsibilities Photograph Merchandise

Effectively prepare and arrange product for photos, accurately representing items.

Use Android smartphones to capture images.

Follow process instructions for taking specific merchandise photos.

Maintain a safe and orderly work area.

Meet and surpass hourly production quotas.

Cross‑train in other areas to build skill base and value within the department.

List Merchandise

Research product information online.

Create product descriptions, proofread, correct mistakes, and update information.

Post products on the ClickGoodwill website, ensuring accuracy, grammar, and spelling.

Follow process instructions for writing merchandise descriptions.

Maintain a safe and orderly work area.

Meet and surpass hourly production quotas.

Cross‑train in other areas to build skill base and value within the department.

Sort Product

Research product accuracy online.

Assess accuracy of titles, check for relevant keywords, and organize them logically, ensuring correct spelling.

Follow all process instructions to assess quality and acceptability.

Maintain a safe and orderly work area.

Meet and surpass hourly production quotas.

Cross‑train in other areas to build skill base and value within the department.

Required Competencies

No degree requirement; value ability to learn and apply experience.

Experience in a fast‑paced, production‑oriented environment with focus on process, safety, and quality.

Online merchandising aptitude: arrange creative displays, analyze trends, and improve displays.

Photography ability with an Android device or digital camera.

Informed decision‑making: analyze data, compare sources, and take action based on facts.

Communication skills: articulate thoughts orally, in writing, and digitally; take good notes.

Teamwork: collaborate and contribute to team outputs.

Ethical behavior and adherence to procedures.

Attention to detail and safety awareness.

Technical knowledge of computers and basic internet navigation.

Continuous learning: welcome feedback and improve skills.

Strong work ethic: professionalism, punctuality, organized, and able to work independently.

Other Requirements

The employee must be physically able to use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to manage repetitive movement; regularly lift up to 50 pounds; work on a computer or handheld scanner; tolerate moderate noise, temperature variations, and overhead fluorescent lighting.

Visual acuity: good close, distance, color, and depth perception with focus adjustment.

Minimum age 18.
