School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
to join our crew in Phenix City. We're all about creating a super inclusive and fun place where students can tackle their communication challenges and really shine. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement personalized treatment programs tailored to each student's needs.
Provide insightful counseling to students and their families about assessment results and treatment plans.
Set clear treatment goals and expectations with students and their support networks.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all student interactions and progress.
Delegate responsibilities to support staff as needed, ensuring all activities meet state guidelines.
Collaborate with staff and external agencies to support student progress.
Refer students to specialists in dentistry, psychology, or relevant fields when necessary.
Qualifications:
Current SLP certification required by the start of employment.
Possession of CPR certification, a valid TB skin test, auto insurance, and a driver's license.
Minimum educational requirement: Associate degree or completion of a Speech-Language Pathology certificate program.
Experience in the field is preferred but not essential; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
