Job Title: SLP, School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Working in a school Setting
We will sponsor H1B candidates already licensed in the states.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
Develop and implement effective treatment programs.
Provide counseling to patients and patients families about the results of testing and recommended treatment options.
Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.
Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.
Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate.
Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines.
Refer patients to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields
License or Certification:
Must have current SLP certificate on or before the first day of employment. CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver's License Education, Training, and Experience:
Minimum requirement:
Associate degree in and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology certificate program. Experience is preferred but not required.
